Hvozdnice Nature Reserve

When visiting the Hvozdnice nature reserve, the heart of almost every nature lover will rejoice. The trail will take you through the romantic surroundings of the ponds - Slavkovský, Vrbovec and Jankův - through the increasingly rare floodplain forests. The ubiquitous wetlands and pools raise the moisture in the area and therefore allowing you to admire the varied flora inhabited by different animal species. During the spring time you will find various flowers of varied colours here. You do not have to worry about getting lost. There are fifteen information boards containing, for example maps or natural attractions, throughout the whole of this most beautiful part of Opava Silesia.
